Question about adding CORE deposits to SMT Group

If many of us are planning on migrating our uploads from Academia.edu to here, as I suspect we are, what should be our collective policy on adding each of these items to the SMT Group? I just went through the process of uploading my first CORE deposit, and it asked me (repeatedly) if I’d like to add it to the SMT Group, which would notify all members of that group.

Of course, you can opt out or reduce these notifications, but I suspect a great many members will get a great many notifications regardless if we all select the SMT group when uploading papers. Any ideas about best practices for this?

I think you should go for it! Maybe don’t add every tiny thing, but just the good stuff? I uploaded my diss mostly just to test how that whole thing worked.
