Hello everybody, my name is Giuseppe Pio Cascavilla and at the moment I am an independent researcher. I earned a PhD in Economic History (University of Bari, 2014) and my current researches are focused on the relations of the Republic of Ragusa with the Barbary States and Russia, and on the Balkans during the Napoleonic era.
