    Monica Berger is Professor, Instruction and Scholarly Communications Librarian, at New York City College of Technology, City University of New York. She supports faculty scholarship through workshops and consultations, manages her campus institutional repository, and enjoys providing workshops for undergraduate researchers. She has published and presented on topics related to predatory publishing, the institutional repository, and open access. Her recent article in Development and Change argues that bibliodiversity and non-commercial open access are necessary for the Global South to decolonize and reclaim open access. Her scholarly monograph on predatory publishing is forthcoming from the Association of Research and College Libraries. She is also currently working on an online comprehensive bibliography of scholarly monographs on rock and pop music.
