      The Association of College & Research Libraries DSS Digital Collections Discussion Group will be hosting two meetings during March and April 2021. Specific dates and times will be determined based on the schedules of the co-conveners and presenters. The meetings will feature lightning talks (10-15 minutes for presentations + 5 minutes for questions) discussing how to promote the use of digital collections in the classroom and to researchers.

      Do you have experience on this topic? If so, we invite you to submit a proposal to present a lightning talk. We want to hear success stories on how you have encouraged the use of digital collections curated by your academic or research library. These stories should be in the context of either:

      (1)     Instructors and students using them within the classroom (such as for class projects); or

      (2)    Researchers using them for their scholarship

      Deadline to submit a proposal is Friday, October 30. You will be contacted by December 11 whether or not your proposal was chosen.
