Stefan Dumont studied Medieval and Modern History, Political Science and Public Law in Mainz and Dijon (France). Since 2011 he has been working for TELOTA, a DH initiative of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. His work focuses on the development of digital editing tools and publication platforms for various edition projects of the BBAW. His research interests are the development and integration of interfaces as well as letters and their digital editions, in particular their standardization and networking. Since 2017 he has also been coordinator of the DFG project for the further development of the web service “correspSearch – Connect Scholarly Editions of Correspondence”. Since 2022 he is also co-leader of the DFG project “PDB18: The German Letter in the 18th century”. He is co-convener of the TEI Correspondence SIG and a member of the Institute for Documentology and Scholarly Editing (IDE).
