Doctoral student at the Hispanic Studies Department, University of Houston. Working as a Research Fellow at the Recovering the U.S. Hispanic Literary Heritage. Her research is on U.S. Latina/o Literature with a focus on U.S.-Mexico borderlands and women and sexualities studies issues. In 2017 she became the co-founder of Borderlands Archives Cartography (BAC) a digital humanities project working with borderlands newspapers archives.
