About

Nigel is a passionate Maltese student living in what is now Canada and studying at Carleton University for his BA (Hons.) in History and Greek & Roman Studies with minors in Medieval & Early Modern Studies and Archaeology. He has years of experience working in museums and archives, as well as working on other projects related to heritage and research. His main research interests are medieval Maltese and wider Central Mediterranean archaeology, its methodology and presentation in public historical contexts, and the impact of European settling and colonialism on Malta. His other interests include decolonization, deorientalism, public history, public archaeology, and archival archaeology.
