Maurizio Brancaleoni is a recent graduate of Sapienza University of Rome with an MA in Language and Translation Studies, but he has been translating at least since 2012. His MA thesis aimed at providing an extended commentary and a translation into his native language of Thomas Wolfe’s posthumous Passage to England. In recent years his translation of poems by Adrian C. Louis, Justin Phillip Reed, Jean Toomer and Dylan Thomas have appeared in the Italian journals Soglie, Testo a fronte and Fischi di carta. He has also published several pieces of poetry and fiction in various collections and journals and won a couple of literary prizes.
