I am a proactive MA graduate with six years’ experience researching and studying Hildegard of Bingen’s works. I am now interested in pursuing a PhD project exploring Hildegard’s theology and medicine, and the converging influences on intellectual culture, medical cultures, and the lived experience of medical practice. I am also interested in gender and sexuality, the natural world and cosmology, and embodiment. I have spoken internationally on Hildegard and won funding to present my research. In my professional life I am an employability adviser meaning I have extensive admin experience and experience teaching university students of all levels.
