AboutHanna E. Morris is a Ph.D student at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. She is the recipient of the 2017 New Directions for Climate Communication Research Fellowship awarded by the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) and the International Environmental Communication Association (IECA). Hanna is concerned with images and visualities of global warming. Her research is primarily engaged with the question of production—or of how artists, filmmakers, photographers, and other media makers can visualize global warming in an era of rapid and large scale environmental change. Hanna is the Graduate Student Representative on the Board of Directors for the International Environmental Communication Association (IECA). She completed her Master’s of Science in Media and Communications at the London School of Economics and Political Science (2016) and Bachelor’s of Science in Society & Environment with a concentration in Global Environmental Politics at the University of California, Berkeley (2015).
