My 2009 book’s subtitle tells it all: From Environmentalism to Consciousness. (Main title: The Nature of Being Human) Behind it all is Darwinian evolution and many of its offshoot developments. After years as a literary scholar, I have gradually been caught up in non-fiction prose with a science spin.
