Emily is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of English at Michigan State University. She received a Bachelor’s degree in English and Theatre at the University of Notre Dame (2013) and a Master’s degree in English from Michigan State (2016). Her research centers around early modern drama and performance, focusing on ideas of estrangement in Shakespeare’s romances. Education
