Hello! I’m Elma Hajric, a PhD candidate in the Human and Social Dimensions of Science and Technology program at ASU. My research interests are in critical data studies, surveillance studies, and STS. I am also an NSF trainee in Citizen-Centered Smart Cities & Smart Living and studying narratives and imaginaries of smart cities. Outside of academia, I enjoy creative pursuits in photography, music, and other forms of artistic expression and genuine connections with other people.
