AboutI am an Assistant Professor of Rhetoric in the Department of English Language and Literature at Waterloo. I teach digital media design, social media theory and practice, history and theory of media. I have recently published on computers in romantic comedy film, the rhetoric of Internet manifestos, and blogging in literary studies. I teach a yearly course in Multimedia at the Digital Humanities Summer Institute at UVic. My current research focuses on how ordinary people live their lives online, most recently using texts drawn from mommy blogging.
