Cole Hudson is the Director of Information Systems and Technology at the University of Arkansas Libraries. He received his M.L.I.S. from Rutgers University and his M.A. and B.A. degrees from the University of Arkansas and Arkansas Tech University, respectively. Cole arrived at the University of Arkansas from North Carolina State University, where he served as Discovery Systems Manager. In this role, he managed a team of programmers/analysts, who maintained core business and bibliographic systems for the NC State University Libraries. Cole previously worked in Detroit as a Digital Publishing Librarian for Wayne State University, dealing with issues of scholarly publishing, archival storage and display, and software development.
Unsurprisingly, Cole’s research and professional interests center around library information technology efforts. Education
