I am a medievalist researching the Nordic Middle Ages. A special focus is on East Norse literature, especially historiography. Furthermore, I am interested in the reception of the Nordic Middle Ages in literature, movies/series and comics (especially manga and anime).
I am a research assistant at the University of Cologne, Department of Scandinavian/Fennish Studies, where I work in the project j o l n e s-Joint Learning in Northern European Studies. This network initiative  is a cooperative project that aims to network the teaching of Scandinavian and Finnish Studies in Europe.
