The world of Platonic idealism will not be satisfactorily imported into the world of phenomenological consciousness. The task of phenomenological philosophers is to return to the interpretation of experience itself and seek to recast meaning not in terms of theoretical idealism, but in terms of existential meaning. The phenomenological philosopher adopts an alternative attitude to interpretation of inherited philosophical concepts. All interpretation necessarily involves achieving an acceptable balance between objective and subjective poles of interpretation. Phenomenology, as posthuman philosophy, is post human in the chronological sense that it transcends the limitations of both renaissance humanism and modern secular humanism by means of the evolution of human consciousness.
