The Southwest Music Studies Colloquium is program of bi-weekly virtual gatherings for musicologists, music theorists, ethnomusicologists, performers, music librarians, other music professionals, music students, and anyone curious about music research and is sponsored in part by the Southwest Chapter of the American Musicological Society. It is an inclusive and diverse community where we can share our latest research, engage with timely issues in our disciplines, offer other professional development opportunities, and grow closer as a community of scholars. SMSC participants do not have to be members of the AMS or any other organization to participate.
