      The Musicology Colloquium at the Vienna Summer Music Festival (VSMF) is currently accepting students for its 2019 session, which will take place from June 1st – 23rd. There are limited slots still available and applications will close April 15th. Priority will be given to students who apply early. Participants will:

      • Perform guided research projects attached to these archives:
        • Österreichische Nationalbibliothek Musiksammlung (Austrian National Library)
        • Historical Archives of the Vienna Philharmonic
        • Wiener Staatsoper Spielplanarchiv
        • Archive of the Arnold Schönberg Center
      • Attend guest lectures and seminars led by VSMF Faculty and faculty of the University of Vienna and University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna
      • Attend world-class concerts at the following locations:
        • Wiener Staatsoper
        • Vienna Philharmonic (Schönbrunn Summer Nights Concert)
        • Salzburg Festival
        • Budapest National Opera
      • Two group weekend trips to Salzburg and Budapest
      • Present research at the final VSMF – Musicology Colloquium Summit
