      Dear all

On behalf of Prof. Bertil van Boer, Western Washington University

The Society for Eighteenth-Century Music in collaboration with Royal Swedish Academy of Music are pleased to announce the Ninth Biennial Conference of the Society for Eighteenth-Century Music, to be held virtually the first two weekends in August, 2021 (August 6-7 and 13-14), which will be held in four 4-hour sessions on each day. This exciting conference is intended to be a fitting way of reinvigorating wide international exchanges of ideas and research after its postponement due to the pandemic, with participants from Europe, North American, and the Middle East.

Complete details about the conference, including the program, are available on our website, https://secm.org/Conferences/secm9/

You can register for the conference right now, for free, using the following link: https://secm.org/Conferences/secm9/register.php

There is no cost for the conference, but registration is obligatory. The registration form may be accessed on the link above. While you may register later, we would be grateful if you could register by August 1, so that we have an accurate count

This revived conference promises to be a stimulating and exciting event, with a wide breadth of scholarship over the entire century and a chance to interact with current research.
