About this group

Maiz de Cajete is an NGO that regularly carries out research and formulate public policy proposals with respect to environmental sustainability issues. It is main goal is to analyze the moral, economic, environmental, political and social limits of the current economic growth and development model, as well as to develop possible alternative life models based on conviviality and reciprocity between people and communities, fair trade and solidarity economies, environmental sustainability and social justice.
