      The German National Library (DNB) is a member of various national and international standards bodies. Perhaps best known is the library in the Linked Pasts Community for the Integrated Authority File (GND). Researchers have long called for the process of registering people, places and institutions at the GND to be simplified and opened to all communities in the long term.
