I think the discussion boards could be improved by bringing in features that a lot of other contemporary discussion boards have — things like a “quote” feature, a reaction or “like” button, even an emoji menu — would help draw people back to the discussion.

This is coming from my perspective having just brought on a group of about 25 early-career academics into H-Commons. But once folks have got signed up and into the group, I realized how limiting the discussion function is.

This said — overall love H Commons and what it’s setting out to do!
