We engage and foster a digital scholarship community at University of Michigan by working to lower barriers to entry and make digital scholarly practice more inclusive and accessible. Our goal is to facilitate this transformative work by partnering with students, researchers, instructors, staff, and the broader community to provide skills, experience, tools, infrastructure, knowledge, and space. We hope to empower people across different disciplines, backgrounds, and languages to ensure digital scholarship is adequately supported throughout its lifecycle, from planning to preservation. To this end, we are working to coordinate and advocate for training, support, and capacity for digital projects, research, and pedagogy. We emphasize inclusion and equity across all projects.
