Mentoring the Writing Process Through Technology: A Critical Review of Organizational and Productivity Apps

  1. Poster_FinalVersion – Poster presented at the 2019 Pedagogy into Practice Conference in Santa Barbara, CA. Best bet for an overview of the entire project.
  2. Abstract – The abstract completed for the conference proposal; useful for getting a general idea of the project
  3. App Summaries – Summaries of the twenty-five apps tested, divided into five categories (task management, time management, resource management, project visualization/management, and writing).
  4. App Methodologies – Brief discussions of various methodologies used by the apps that readers may not have encountered before.
  5. Data Graphs – Graphs of the data taken from the rubrics (see below) that were not included on the poster (see the poster for the other graphs)
  6. Rubrics – Copies of the rubrics used by Long and Wallentinsen to rate and score the apps. The rubrics are grouped by app type (task mgmt., time mgmt., resource mgmt., project mgmt., and writing) and by researcher (i.e. Long’s rubrics, then Wallentinsen’s rubrics).
