    Abstract:
    On the night of April 21, 2010, the powerful Jat community at Mirchpur in Haryana's Hisar district attacked a Dalit colony. A 70-year-old man and his handicapped daughter were burnt alive in this fire. After that, the Dalits of Mirchpur had to leave the village and run away. Scholar and journalist Pramod Ranjan visited Mirchpur in July 2012. He also met the families of Mirchpur victims, who had taken shelter in the farmhouse of Vedpal Tanwar, a local businessman and social worker, at district headquarters Hisar. This memoir field report is about that tour. In this, the personality of Vedpal Tanwar, who gave shelter to Dalits who were victims of Mirchpur incident, has been highlighted. In this article, it is also known what was the social character of the forces that operated India's famous anti-corruption movement (Anna Hazare's Lokpal movement) in Delhi. Also, this article gives an insight into the Indian Army's attempt to take over the Government of India in 2012.
