    Abstract:
People who reach the highest positions in the Indian Army come from the upper castes. In the army, the fight for supremacy also goes on within them on the basis of caste. In 2012, the controversy regarding General VK Singh was the result of a similar caste war. These trends at the highest level of the military are dangerous for India's security.
