    Abstract:
This is a book review that evaluates the Spanish-language edition of the letters written by the Mexican poet Helena Paz Garro to the German writer Ernst Jünger, which were originally written in French. The reviewer had access to the original letters in the German Literature Archive in Germany and she compares the original texts with the translation, which was poorly carried out. The reviewer underlines the importance of these letters in the critical exploration of Mexican right-wing thought and the study of Nazi sympathizers from Mexico, as the poet Paz Garro was attracted to Jünger and his circle due to their participation in WWII on the German side. The reviewer notes the lack of adequate historical and cultural contextualizaton by the editors of the Spanish-language edition of these letters.
