    Abstract:
    Distal femoral fractures are usually high-energy injuries in the young age group. It is likely to be accompanied by ligamentous injury that often goes unnoticed, are missed because of severe pain and deformity. Incidences of 32% to 48% have been reported for ligament injuries among individuals with ipsilateral femoral fractures. The purpose of this case report is to highlight the importance of ipsilateral knee injuries associated with femoral shaft fractures
