- Spanish abstract: Examinamos el tratamiento que da Hegel, en su ´Fenomenología del Espíritu´, a la crítica racionalista a la religión, con algunas observaciones sobre la situación en nuestros propios tiempos. Hegel aporta una perspectiva compleja, y desde el planteamiento mismo de su teoría del del espíritu superando una forma de conciencia tras otra, parece situarse ya por anticipado más allá de toda creencia o doctrina concreta, y más allá de cualquier planteamiento crítico simplista. ________________________________________________________________ English abstract: This paper examines Hegel's approach to the rationalist critique of religion in his 'Phenomenology of Spirit', with some observations on present-day debates. Hegel provides a complex perspective, from the very grounding of his theory on the notion of the Spirit transcending one form of consciousness after another, and thus he seems to place himself in advance beyond any concrete belief or doctrine, and beyond any simplistic critical approach to the issue.
