    Abstract:
______________________________________________________________________________________________ English abstract: The Atapuerca palaeoanthropologists are gradually uncovering more data about the feeding habits of the Homo heidelbergensis and Homo antecessor species which preceded Homo sapiens and Neanderthals as the first humans to inhabit the Iberian Peninsula. We reflect here on the element of cannibalism in the diet of these and other primitive humans, as well as some modern ones.
