    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to the analysis of the linguistic personality of Ivan the Terrible, who sought to use bright and expressive words in his works. The emotionality of Ivan the Terrible characterizes his linguistic personality as a versatile person who does not limit himself in the manifestation of feelings even in business messages. Ivan the Terrible in his writings followed quite definite literary models of that time.
