    Abstract:
This work undertakes a study of Alex Asigbo's play War of the Tin Gods from a performance perspective. It investigates the scenographic requirements of the play and suggests possible design approaches to a production of same. This is particularly so because of the outer worldly environments indicated in the play. The study also attempts a comparative study of the play with other plays written in the same mould, such as The Frogs by Aristophanes and Esiaba Irobi's Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh. After a study of the challenges associated with such plays, the work puts forward proposals that should help bring about a successful presentation of War of the Tin Gods on stage.
