- Abstract:
- New technologies, shifting demographics, and higher education transformations are factors that will impact the future of academic music librarianship. Through a thorough literature review and examination of the latest trends, I will present the shaping factors and how they will likely impact work in tomorrow’s music libraries. The goals of this presentation include engaging attendees in issues they may soon confront, and to promote critical thinking about what music librarians will likely see in their professional future.
