Jonathan H. Harwell is Head of Collections & Systems at Rollins College, and was previously a librarian at Georgia Southern University, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Berry College. He holds an MLIS from The University of Alabama, an MA in Social Science from Georgia Southern University, and a BA in English from the University of Southern Mississippi. In his former life, he was a teacher in Albania for two years. His passions include researching the cultural history of Quakers in the American South.

Stefano Villani is Associate Professor in Early Modern European History at the University of Maryland, College Park (associate professor at the University of Pisa until 2010). He has worked on the Quaker missions in the Mediterranean and published numerous articles and books in this area: Tremolanti e papisti (1996); Il calzolaio quacchero e il finto cadì (2001); A True Account of the Great Tryals and Cruel Sufferings Undergone by Those Two Faithful Servants of God, Katherine Evans and Sarah Cheevers (2003). More recently he has worked on the religious history of the English community in Livorno and on the Italian translations of the Book of Common Prayer and has published an intellectual biography of one of the Nineteenth-Century translators: George Frederick Nott (1768-1841). Will Fenton is the Director of Scholarly Innovation at the Library Company of Philadelphia and the Creative Director of Redrawing History: Indigenous Perspectives on Colonial America (The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage). He earned his Ph.D. from Fordham University in August 2018 (Department of English). Fenton specializes in early American literature and the digital humanities, for which he has received support from the American Philosophical Society; Haverford College Quaker and Special Collections; the Humanities, Arts, Science, and Technology Alliance and Collaboratory; the Library Company of Philadelphia; the Modern Language Association; the New York Public Library; NYC Digital Humanities; and the Omohundro Institute of Early American History & Culture. His writings have appeared in academic journals (American Quarterly, Common-Place, and ESQ); academic blogs (American Philosophical Society, HASTAC, MLA Connected Academics, Omohundro Uncommon Sense, and the Organization of American Historians); and various public platforms (including Inside Higher Ed and PC Magazine, for which he writes the column “Autodidact“). Fenton has also created several major digital projects outlined on digital scholarship.
I am an historian of art and architecture, with 12 years’ experience of working in the built environment sector. I currently work for Historic England, the public body which helps people care for, enjoy and celebrate England’s historic environment. I provide in-house archival research and fabric analysis for a wide range of buildings and historic areas. I have published articles on a variety of architectural and historical topics, with a particular focus on the early nineteenth century. My co-authored book on the architecture and history of Weston-super-Mare, a Victorian seaside resort in Somerset, was published in March 2019. I am also interested in the production, display, collecting and reproduction of early nineteenth-century sculpture. I have explored these themes in several publications in relation to Johann Heinrich von Dannecker’s marble group Ariadne auf dem Panther/Ariadne on the Panther (1803-14).
Andrzej Klimczuk, PhD, a sociologist and public policy expert, assistant professor in the Department of Public Policy of the Collegium of Socio-Economics at the Warsaw School of Economics, Poland. Editor and correspondent of publications about computer and video games in the years 2002-2009. In 2011-2013 Vice President of the Foundation’s Laboratory Research and Social Action “SocLab.” External expert of institutions such as the European Commission, URBACT III Programme, Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme, Fondazione Cariplo, and International Federation on Ageing. Member of various scientific organizations such as the Polish Sociological Association, Polish Society of Gerontology, and European Sociological Association.
